Finnentrop enterprise provides expertise in Suspension Components
With a special stroke of a feather, Audi and Eibach have sealed a new expertise partnership for the current DTM season: with immediate effect, the traditional North Rhine-Westphalia company will once again be making its know-how in Racing Springs available to the Ingolstadt operation for the German Touring Car Masters (DTM). Both companies are linked to a successful collaboration that has already brought success in this popular racing series in the past.
Eibach can look back on decades of experience in all different types of Motorsport series. Besides the DTM, they also supply to WRC rally cars, NASCAR and Formula 1. The knowledge behind the modular ERS Suspension Programme, which enables the creation of the best possible combination of product for its intended use from over 700 individual components, was gained from working directly in the Motorsport arena.
As in this collaboration with Audi, individual special parts can be made for specific requirements. Eibach has gained an enviable reputation for itself in the business through high-quality and tailor-made individual solutions for international Motorsport series, small-batch production (OE) and world-famous car tuner. Know-how that Audi would like to use as well, so it is aiming at a long-term technology partnership that is intended to go way beyond one season. Audi has a total of ten vehicles at the DTM starting line in 2007 that are being used by the three works teams Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline, Audi Sport Team Phoenix and Audi Sport Team Rosberg as well as the Audi customer team Futurecom TME.
