The best in its class - the Abt AS4
The new Audi A4 is definitely the premium model of the middle class cars. All the more when it is additionally improved by Abt Sportsline. For the A4, a range of ultra-modern engines is offered, and they all are a perfect basis for the engineers from Abt Sportsline. For example, the new 1.8 TFSI, upgraded with Abt Power from 160 HP (118 KW) to 200 HP (147 KW). The mighty torque of 310 Nm then offers the shear force. With Abt Power S the engine even provides sporty 240 hp (177 kW). Equally good choices are also the self-igniting engines. With Abt Power, the 2.0 TDI achieves 170 hp (125 kW), with Abt Power S even 200 hp (147 kW). The serial two liter Turbodiesel offers 143 hp (105 kW). The Abt engineers know how to make reliable 230 hp (162 kW) out of the 2.7 TDI’s 190 hp (140 kW) (Abt Power), while they modify the strongest Diesel, the 3.0 TDI with 240 hp (175 kW), to maximum 300 hp (221 kW), thanks to Abt Power S. Then an enormous torque of 600 Nm is available. With Abt Power, also the three-liter Diesel becomes a real power pack. 270 hp (199 kW) and 550 Nm torque unveil the athlete in the AS4.
The Abt suspension springs, perfectly adjusted by Christian Abt, in particular the Abt thread sports suspension enables the car to confidently master every situation and offers a more agile and active driving behaviour. If need be, the Abt brake system (345 millimeter disc diameter) or the Abt sports brake system (diameter 380 millimeter) are powerfully operating.
Wheels from Abt Sportsline’s range are the perfect complement for the exceptional premium vehicle. No matter if the successful AR or the new BR wheel, no matter if in 18, 19 or 20 inch, the wheel creations designed in the Allgäu region exquisitely fit the AS4. Dynamical elegance - the Abt AS5
Unobtrusive design and powerful appearance - this is what the Abt AS5 stands for. With a discerning eye on the detail Abt enhances the elegant Audi Coupé with its breathtaking, pleasing contours and the stretched flanks. The team from Kempten has managed to upgrade the unique vehicle without changing its character. With the two coloured paint and the Abt body kit, the AS5 appears like a mannequin in an extravagant designer tailor-made suit.The front skirt, in which a grid element accents the front fog lights and the single-frame grill, the strikingly curved lateral parts, the fender insets and the gill-shaped air inlets form a shapely unit. The Coupé is a unique and beautiful car, no matter from which perspective. The rear skirt inset with the diffuser excellently harmonizes with the 4-pipe rear muffler, together with the perfectly designed rear spoiler it accentuates the rear of the vehicle. As ideal complement, Abt recommends the new BR wheel in 20 inch. With its superposed spokes, the wheel seems to rapidly move forward although it is
standing still.
The Abt AS5 is not only optically a real sports car. In Essen it is presented with the powerful 3.0 TDI engine which, thanks to Abt Power S, now brings 300 HP (221 KW) onto the road instead of the serial 240 HP (176 KW). The torque of 600 Nm is getting free at already 2400 rpm and provide for shear force in all situations. Also impressive is the acceleration of the self-igniting engine. Exactly 5.3 seconds needs the car from standing still to 100 km/h, the top speed is 264 km/h - values which suit to a sporty Coupé like the Abt AS5. In order that the impressive power remains controllable, Christian Abt, motor sport professional, excellently adjusted the Abt thread sports suspension in detail. And the Abt brake system with discs 380 millimeters diameter powerfully grips.
Abt multifunctional sports steering wheel, soft nappa leather grip and carbon look leather adorn the driver’s workplace. Abt aluminium pedals and gear shift knob complete the sporty accent in the interior.

Abt Touareg – facelift for the heavy weight from Kempten
2002, the Touareg marked Volkswagen’s powerful way into the domain of SUVs. "Even for Abt, the car was absolutely new territory," explains Hans-Jürgen Abt. Back then, the managing director of Abt Sportsline did in fact have doubts about the market opportunities of the heavy weight: "But the SUV has become a great success, and meanwhile the Touareg and the Audi Q7 belong to our success stories. Of course, one reason for this is the fact that the Allgäu-based tuners particularly stress the "S in "SUV. Abt has also made the optically and clearly improved version of the SUV from Wolfsburg very sporty. At the moment, three diesel engines are available, and all of them come with a power increase. Especially remarkable is it when driving the popular 3.0 TDI which now, thanks to Abt Power S, offers 300 HP (221 KW) instead of the serial 225 HP (165 KW) and works with a torque of 600 Nm.The 2.5 TDI conduces to enter the segment of noble SUVs, getting from Abt, thanks to Abt Power, 195 HP (serial 174 HP) or 143 KW (serial 128 KW).
The creme de la creme again is the Abt Touareg VS10, a 10-cylinder Turbo diesel, acquiring its enormous power of 360 HP (265 KW) from five liter cubic capacity. This engine perfectly harmonizes with the Abt Touareg. Also the V8 with its capacity of 4.2 liters is perfect for the powerful appearance of the SUV made in Kempten: The Abt turbo charger replacement Abt Power R offers 500 HP (368 KW) instead of the serial 350 HP (257 KW). The Abt Suspension, which is tailor made for the requirements of this extraordinary vehicle, guarantees that the enormous power potential of the Abt Touareg can be handled while driving. The comfortable air suspension with the innovative Abt Level Control (ALC) is also available for this version. Even in risky situations the Abt brake system bites with a firm grip and brings the car of 2.4 tons to a standstill.
Again, the tuners from Kempten designed an extravagant body kit for the SUV, just as they did for the first Touareg version: front spoiler lip, side skirts, fender extensions, rear wing, rear skirts and the 4-pipe exhaust system, typical for Abt, form a design unit which makes the car look extremely dynamical from every angle.
The Abt Touareg is far lower and broader than its serial twin. And that suits him perfectly. Even when the car is standing, you know that it feels at home on every terrain and that it will be able to deal with all challenges. What excellently fits is the Abt BR-wheel in 19, 20 or 22 inch. The Abt Touareg is a power pack, an athlete in a tailor made suit. With this car, you are always adequately represented.

Compact extra class - the new Tiguan
The SUV family from the Allgaeu region gets a sleek increment. The new Abt Tiguan is more than the "small brother of the successful Touareg. The car presents itself very self-contained in technology and form. "With its straight lines and curves at the right place it is a very likeable car, says Hans-Jürgen Abt. The managing director of the successful Allgäu-based company is convinced that the Abt Tiguan will become a big hit. Actually the designers from Kempten tailored a body kit for the newcomer which underlines the dynamical car body and the powerful appearance of the many-sided automobile. The single components perfectly harmonize with each other. Front spoiler and front grille accentuate the impish face and let it look considerably more aggressive. Thanks to the fender extensions the Abt Tiguan appears even more brawny, the door strip attachments in the entry area take up the hip bend of the serial car. Rear skirt and rear wing form a suitable rear view of the overall successful car. Both perfectly harmonize with the 4-pipe rear muffler, also optimized in sound for the Diesel so that the self-igniting engine sounds really aggressive and sporty.
Recommendable as perfect completion are the noble wheels from Abt Sportsline. If the owner of a Tiguan decides for the classic AR or the new BR wheel with its expressive, corresponding spokes, is a matter of taste. And so is the size of the wheels, available in 18, 19 and mighty 20 inch. Of course, also complete wheel-tyre sets can be ordered.
But the Abt Tiguan not only looks powerful, its riding qualities authorize it to be a sporty car for all opportunities. No matter which motorization the Tiguan driver chooses, in the Allgäu one always gets a significant power increase. This means, the power of the 1.4 TSI will be increased from serial 150 hp (110 kW) to 200 hp (147 kW). And the Turbodiesel with two liters cubic capacity then offers 170 hp (125 kW) instead of 140 hp (103 kW). If more is demanded, Abt Power S with the new Abt Turbo comes into consideration. Then, in the 2.0 TDI (147 kW) engine, 200 Diesel horses come into force, noticeably pushing the car. Thanks to the suspension springs and the adjustable sports suspension from Abt, the Tiguan brings its power onto all lanes and offers a lot of driving pleasure, especially on curvaceous country roads. Due to the fact that such an active car must remain controllable in every situation, the team from Kempten installed the Abt brake system, measuring 345 x 30 millimeters, in their compact SUV.
The latest member of the Kempten SUV family is easily able to get out of the mighty shadows of the Abt Touareg and Abt AS7 because the Abt Tiguan is a compact extra class of its own.

The R8 from Abt - a car which is setting standards
Design milestones of sports car construction do not only come from Sant’ Agata Bolognese or Maranello but also from Kempten. Because there, in the picturesque Allgäu region, Abt Sportsline, the greatest tuner for vehicles from the Volkswagen group, is based. With the new Abt R8, the term "improvement is set one level
higher as this car combines technical competence and brilliant design from Abt and results in an automobile masterwork. Not more and not less. The Abt R8 is a fantastic super sports car, playing in the same league as Lamborghini Gallardo or Ferrari F430.
No doubt, even the basis model of the R8 is something special - and therefore a real challenge, emphasizes Hans-Jürgen Abt. "The fluently dynamic form of the car is unique, it looks like having a lot of power, even when standing still, admits the managing director and therewith he raises the bar for his engineers and designers. As it is usual for Abt, the result is quite respectable and can be driven with fascination. The light and sporty high-tech material Carbon well visibly shapes the rear skirt, the side blades and the side skirts.
The exciting body kit of the two-seater was developed by the motor sports professionals from Kempten who also optimized the car in reducing weight and in distributing mass evenly. That optical features do not obviate technical sophistications but, on the contrary, lead to perfection clearly show the contours of the Abt R8.Front skirt, side skirts, and rear skirt form a unit in which the rear wing, the side blades and also the exhaust system are harmonically integrated. A special highlight is the front skirt partially made of sight carbon. It is a component of the equipment version "Extravagant. The customer is able to provide his Abt R8 with attachment parts, at his own option with elements of sight carbon. A two tone structure is also possible by request. This equipment version also offers the customer the possibility to beautify his R8 with an Abt body kit made of high-quality GRP (glass fibre reinforced plastic). Also the new BR wheel from Abt with its bi-colour paint perfectly fits the car. The front axis presents it in the size 9x20 inch, the rear axis in 11x20 inch. Thus the R8 appears much more dynamical. With Abt suspension springs and car lowering the team from Kempten improves the road holding even more as Christian Abt and his specialists exactly adjusted the suspension. With the Abt sports brake system (380 millimeters diameter), the fast super sports car from the Allgäu sets standards also in matters of delay.
